What is the Buddy Programme?
The ESN PWr Buddy Programme is a fantastic project which main aim is to help exchange students with starting their Erasmus adventure, to make them feel welcome in Wrocław. We want the beginning of the semester to be a joyful and exciting experience for both international and local students. We provide some kind of mentors for those who are new in Poland and they have just started education at our University.
Who is Buddy?
Buddy is a person who takes care of an incoming exchange student. Since your buddy will be a Polish native speaker, you will have a chance to get to know all about Polish culture and the lifestyle of the Poles. You’ll discover what Żubrówka, smalec, bigos or barszcz are. Soon you’ll learn how weird polish language is, will all the ż, ź , ą, ę and others. All in all, you will meet a lot of great Polish people!
